Kaliaaer’s Dynamic Impact foam is used with embossed latex, wrapping round the backhand and the front of the glove, giving fantastic padding and support.

The XGM Pro goalkeeper glove range
The XGM Pro range is Kaliaaer’s brand new glove line for 2011. The range was released in just a few styles and in small quantities during 2010, with a great reaction from keepers. So welcome to 2011 – which sees the grand release of the whole XGM Pro range.

Every range Kaliaaer bring out just seems to get better and better. It’s hard to believe that the brand’s first range of goalkeeper gloves was released in only spring 2008 (at that time, exclusively online with thegoalkeeperco.com in fact!). Since then, the brand has grown a great reputation really quickly.

The special thing about Kaliaaer is brilliant design combined with quality production. The guys behind the brand want it to be more than just a brand based on great design – they test all of their releases extensively with professional and amateur keepers before releasing them to the public. Remember - getting your size right is important, but if you aren’t totally happy with the size of the products you order after receiving them, just post them back to us with the product and packaging in their original condition and we’ll send you a size that you prefer.

Goalkeeper Gloves Size Guide (see below for clothing sizes)

Every goalkeeper is different – size depends on how much room you like in your gloves.

Choosing gloves that are the right size for you depends on how tight or loose fitting you like your gloves. Jorge Campos of Mexico, for example, was well known for wearing massive gloves in comparison to the rest of his body. Other keepers, like Peter Shilton, are known to have preferred tight fitting gloves.

Don’t buy gloves that are too big just because they are the “pro” gloves.

We always advise our goalkeepers - and particularly parents of young goalkeepers – that the most important thing in glove sizes is making sure that your gloves aren’t too big. Gloves that don’t fit make it hard to catch. In our opinion, young keepers under the age of 11 should generally be choosing goalkeeper gloves not bigger than size 6.

The most common adult sizes are generally 8 to 10.

Most professional goalkeepers choose gloves ranging from sizes 8 to 10.

Generally, average height players tend to choose sizes 8 to 9, and the bigger guys wear sizes 9 to 11. The sizes most keepers go for are summarized in the table here:
